Hurricane Katrina
proved once again, that it takes less than 3 days for contemporary men
and women to resort to primitive behavior – killing each other
for basic sustenance and survival needs. Police officers in New Orleans
fled their posts to save their own families and the entire region was
in absolute chaos. And of course, the overall Government response left
us all with sadness, disappointment, resentment, and anger. The problems
still aren’t solved!
Recently,
we living here in Hawaii were reminded of just how vulnerable we are
by a series of small events. In 2006-2007 alone, there were three Tsunamis
and a notable Earthquake which killed our power grid and spoiled refrigerated
& frozen goods for many households without power. Additionally,
those of us that work in Honolulu were brought to our knees when an
irresponsible truck driver struck an overpass on H1. Many Oahu residents
(me included) were forced to sleep in our cars on the highway or were
stuck in 10+ hours of traffic. All of these acts were simply wake-up
calls to our populace and could have been far worse.
Ask yourself, what
since then, have you done to prepare? Sadly, most folks are still no
better prepared today than yesterday and will be just as unprepared
in the future to face a natural or man-made disaster. Additionally,
our rapidly declining political situation has made the world a much
less safe place than it was a decade ago and sadly, it isn’t getting
any better. Realizing that there will not likely be any truly viable
help in the initial phases of a crisis, you must to take personal action
in order to protect your own interests ranging from self, to family,
to property. How do you do that? Well, read on…
Obviously, there
can be no way to prevent a natural disaster, and to some degree we simply
have no control over a man-made disasters. You can however, choose the
way you face strife by doing some simple prior-planning. You really
owe it to yourself and/or your loved ones – don’t you?
I am from Oahu,
my hometown being Haleiwa so I realize that there are certain challenges
that face our Pacific Islands that someone living in Kansas doesn’t
have to face in the same fashion. I have developed specifically designed
“Disaster Kits” for us living here on our island home. These
kits are flexible, so I can custom tailor them to support those the
live in Japan or even those that are landlocked living in desert, mountain,
or even triple canopy jungle environments if need be.
Using my personal experience gained in countless military operations that required living off the land through the procurement of food, water, and shelter combined with real world operational experiences; I developed these four very unique and highly specialized systems to solve a dilemma we all face here on island home.
Allow me to custom design a 72-Hour "Ahi" Kit,
a 7-Day "Aku" Kit, 1-Month
"Mano" Kit, or choose my newest and most economical offering, the prepackaged Multi-Day “Tako” Kit. These four kits are serious survival systems that will enable a single person, a family, or families to cope with disaster when (not if) it strikes. The Ahi, Aku, and Mano Kits all three come with an in-home consultation on each part of the kit while the more economical Tako Kit comes via mail order (from me to you) with instructions in lieu of a personal consultation for those on a more stringent budget or who simply don’t want or have time for a consultation.
